A few answers about your firm. A person at CommonBoard reads every application.
What you get once you're approved:
- Your own page on CommonBoard with your firm's name, to send the boards you work with.
- A dashboard of the associations you referred, each listed only if its board says yes.
- CPAs: a read-only login to your clients' year-end reports, when their board gives you access.
About referral fees
Referral fees are tracked here but not paid. Payouts are switched off until an attorney reviews the rules for paying referral fees to licensed professionals (lawyers, CPAs and insurance agents have their own state rules). Nothing is owed until then.
